MVS 7….

Saturday, June 24th, 2006

Last Friday was the 7th edition of the APMB’s musical variety show, organised by the youngsters of the APMB. It was quite a success, as the Syuen Ballroom, the venue, was full with audiences and some had to stand to watch the performances. As the chairperson of this year’s MVS, I really want to thank the people whom I regard as the heroes of this MVS, the unsung heroes behind this spectacular version of the concert.

To ALAN THOO,

I sing my praises. You were the inspiration of this concert. Your advises were really helpful and you practically got us the DiGi people to perform. You are my first to thank, and my finest godbro….

To MARCUS LOH,

I respect the most, and I mean it. I know I haven’t updated you properly about this concert, one of the many flaws I have made. Nevertheless you contributed much, eventhough you were very busy with the Celebriteen stuff. The musical maestro, thanks….

To SAM TEH KEE SOON,

You helped made this concert a very organised one, eventhough your contributions looked little. Without your stage management, I think that the performers will not have a clue when and where they should be. You have great advices and hints for me, and I really appreciate them. Thank you….

To KENNETH YEOH, YEW WING, KAH CHUAN, JIET HOU AND GEE SHIN,

My seniors and ABEXes, thank you all for attending and helping out in the concert. You guys have contributed to the organised state of the night, and without your help, we may not have the organised concert we had.

To CHUN KIT, KEVIN, FOO KIT, ARVINF, AND JOHAN,

You were the saviours of the APMB performance. Without your help, I am pretty sure that we won’t sound as loud and as grand on the night. You all were not only the heroes from the performance wise, you all were also my very grateful advisers. To this, I acknowledge LIEW CHUN KIT. You gave me points and hints and advises that no one could have given me at the point I needed it the most. Thank heavens you were in school. To Kevin, Foo Kit, Arvinf, and Johan, I am pretty sure that you, my seniors, have given me advises that I may have looked over. To that I apologise. Thank you guys for the advise. Thank you, seniors, ABEXes.

To ASHWIN AND SIEW JHOONG,

You may not have been in Ipoh, but your short and appreciated presence during the concert period has helped. You have advises that I really appreciate. Siew Jhoong, you have managed the registration well and properly, and I thank you very much for that. Thanks…

To MRS BHAJAN,

You gave great advise, teacher. I really appreciate your help in this MVS, and I apologise for making you run up and down. Thank you, teacher.

To HARDEEP,

Man, you were great friend and great supporter of this MVS. You were great and without your support and advise being a chairman, I may not have achieved this success.

To the Celebtiteen staff and performers,

You guys were there for the night and really helped in making this show a success. To the staff, you guys helped in making this  shw very organised, and i thank you guys…. To the performers, namely the UNDERGRPUND EXTREME and the Celebrtieen state champions, thank you for making this show a real variety. This success I owe you all.

To the performers of the night,

To the TRADIMODE of Main Convent. You girls were really helpful in the selling of tickets and performed very very well at the night. To Mrs Florina, Mrs Camelia, and the girls, thanks…

To Sangeet Kaur, thanks for singing… You sang well.

Last but definitely not least, my COMMITTEE and my MEMBERS,

JUSTIN OOI, you were the best assistant I ever had. You supported me eventhough you do not very much agree. I say sorry for the things I may have pushed you to do, and thanks for the assists that you have given me.

SHAN, you were a very good adviser. You pushed me far and I appreciate that. Without that push, I may not have achieved this success. Thank you.

Graham, Syimir, Amir, Ying Hung and the rest of the committee, thank you for all the teamwork. The things that i told you guys to do was done perfectly, and i am very very grateful. There may have been blunders and hiccups, but those can be apologised, and don’t fell bad about it, it is over.Thank you guys for being there for me, and thanks very much for willing to work with me.

The Form 5 and the performers, I really thank you guys. SHAN, RAIS, WILSON, SAKTHE, SYED and ALIFF and PEI MIN, the new Form 6 members, thank you guys and girls for being there although the exams are near, and all the advises and everything. Without you, i may noy have achieved this feat. To the Form 4 and downwards, you guys were very displined and committed. i thank you guys fot the committment, dedication and discpline.

GUYS AND GIRLS,

This is my very first mega-project. And you guys helped make i a great success and reality. You guys and girls are really the unsung heroes of this concert, and I say sorry if I have offended of been rude or impolite in the course of making this show a reality, sorry. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

a crowded sunday

Sunday, June 11th, 2006

and you would think that crowds on sundays are good…. totally the opposite!!

today we hard a really full field of players playing football in the field, some of which i hope never to see again (i am not scared to say it out loud<or type>)

as i have said before, suren always get the ball when it is crowded, and he got it, and slotted it in an empty goal for our first score, really nice revenge against the kononnya great uncle who only messes up the game.

nevertheless, the game went on… me touching the ball a few times only, damn boring…. got 40 people in the field.. in periods of the game i just think… PLAY WHAT WOR????

it goes on and on and on and on and….. the score was 7-5, we leading.. from some fine strikes and two penalties… i think the scorers were suren, naven, thevin, azrol… and some others la… wasnt paying too much attention

then it was final goal…. one kapcai offside goal from the wilson or whatshisname i dun really care…

so we called it a day and some of us went cycling whereas a few of us juggled the ball…

well thats for this week, not very infromative cuz skul coming…. have to go sleep jor…

the first report

Sunday, June 4th, 2006

well since azrol has a greaaaaaaaaaaaat idea of me posting these reports on our football days, here you go…

yesterday, a sunday…

a great surprise greeted us as sundays usually mean a packed field, and nobody touching the ball more than twice (except the never passing suren). however, only about eighteen of us turned up for the craze… so we had a good time there (not really me) the team was usual, suren, azrol, figo (fisco now), desmond, philip, chapra, puvi, shatiesh and others (i got short term memory)..

so there we started play as usual suren and shateish going up and scoring, figo giving crosses, azrol putting a defensive role, surprisingsly… and then desmond decided to give goalkeeping a try

things go on, and we leaded by a massive amount, i think by five goals at the end, courtesy of hat-tricks by the striker turned goalkeeper, shateish, suren and one goal from puvi and desmond…

rather a dissappointing game from me really, tried to go up…. wasted some nice chances… ah… i beta be playing down rather than up i think.. slacking in football d so fast…

other than that, i think everybody in the team did a good job and we ruled until a point where figo went home… but our lead was so massive that i did not make, much difference

so then, one nice game came and went, how i wished that everyday was like that, where the field was not crowded and there is space for everyone, not just those bodoh-sombong people like suren….hahahhaha (just joking la)
